It is very expensive for Jade to travel, in order to help with those costs he is forced to ask for payment of his presentations.

Costs for out-of-province schools:

• I am based in Vancouver and on my tours I charge each school a flat fee of $450 
  for travel expenses (air fare, hotel, transportation, food), plus $1 for each student attending. For groups under 100 students I charge $100.
• I charge a flat rate of $450 for parent and public presentations.

Costs for local schools

• I charge a flat rate of $100 for groups under 100 students, and $1 per person for over 100 students.
• Plus Mileage expenses- $0.43/Km

All payments go directly to cover tour costs, and the rest is directed to my registered non profit society, Community for Social Development  - KIDS (Kids Independent of Drugs), with charitable status pending.

Strength of the Human Spirit Tour 2008
- Vancouver Island Region -

During the 2008 school year Jade Bell will travel to the Vancouver Island region and speak to an estimated 50,000 students from grades four through twelve enrolled in public school and some first nation reserve schools about the dangers of substance abuse and drug addiction. This will increase the awareness among Vancouver Island youth, parents, teachers and interested public and also recommend appropriate interventions to assist in overcoming these problems within Vancouver Island communities.

Jade will be starting in the capital city of Victoria on January 2008, and then will be moving north, speaking to an estimated 5,000 students one week - each month.

January 21-25, 2008 - Victoria & South Island Middle & Elementary Schools

February 18 - 22, 2008 - Victoria & South Island High Schools

March 31 - April 4, 2008- Vancouver High Schools *Special project preview for hometown lower mainland schools.

April 14 - April 18 - South Central Island

May 12 - May 16 - Central and North Central Island

June 9 - 13 - North Island
