Dolls
Written August 1st 2004
Jade C Bell
mortality rakes up drops
immortal silence never stops
tattered sewed dolls
searching roads hi & low
for their missing souls
& what they don't no
only goes where the wind blows
witch direction no one noes
just let sewn be sew
in a paradoxical parallel
with gods celestial angels
but with no wings to fly away
& no eyes to see the light of day
but god thinks that’s ok
that’s just how things go
the wind still blows
witch direction no one noes
so sew in a dolls soul
do you think they no
in streets with no names
in a world without pains
in bodies without veins
organs a heart & bones
emotionless never fearing to b alone
china doll, porcelain doll
rag doll, let them fall
as mortals rake the drops
immortal silence that never stops
the marry & mad
but never angry or sad
the dolls stroll up roads
of lost souls
I think they no
& so the wind blows
witch direction no one noes
& sewn is so |
